Cloud Sync subscription terms
Cloud Sync is an optional service for HA Desktop Widget. The desktop app and its folder based profile sync remain available separately.
Trial and annual subscription
New Cloud Sync accounts can save settings for 14 days without a subscription or payment card. The planned paid subscription is USD 24 per year. The total, including any applicable tax, is displayed before you pay. Stripe handles payment and annual renewal. The 14 day service trial is separate from Stripe Checkout: if you subscribe during it, paid billing starts at checkout.
After the trial, saving changes requires an active subscription. If a subscription ends, you can still sign in and download the profile already stored. You can use the app's free folder sync or subscribe again.
Managing and cancelling
The app's Manage Subscription button opens Stripe's customer portal, where you can update payment details and cancel. A portal cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, as shown in the portal. Deleting your Cloud Sync account attempts to cancel an active subscription immediately before deleting stored account data. If that cancellation fails, the account remains in place and you can contact us for help.
Refunds
We do not offer voluntary refunds. This does not limit any refund, cancellation, or other consumer right required by applicable law.
Your settings and access
You choose which settings to sync and are responsible for maintaining access to your Google or GitHub account. Individual profile uploads are limited to 512 KB. The service checks revisions to prevent one device from silently overwriting another device's newer save. Profile encryption is optional; without it, the service can read the synced profile.
Availability and changes
The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to outages. We may change the service or the price for future billing periods after giving notice as required by applicable law.
